I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UNHCR (Sídney) in Jan 2020
Interview
At first, CV was submitted through email. After 2 weeks, I got a call. It was a phone interview. I was asked about my work experience. After that, they informed for a group interview. The group interview was average. The interviewer did not seem very qualified. He was just asking about what UNHCR works, how they help people etc. other than skills and experience.

Some Questions around the competencies mentioned in the job TOR which was 4 or 5 and general question about personal experiences which they asked a lot of details about the techniques and approaches used and they request details about implementation and challenges
I applied in-person. I interviewed at UNHCR (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
Too long, too many paperwork, too meticulous - started with an interview with a panel from 2 departments, then immediately proceeded to a written 60 mins test on how to write a report to determine whether an applicant should be recognised as a refugee or not. No time to read, collect your thoughts or ask questions. Was just thrown into a pool of documents & expected to come out with a report
