Interview
The interview was for a Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion Intern in Geneva. It lasted only 15 minutes, it was very short. I didn't even had a chance to talk about my previous experiences. It was conducted by 2 females, are Livelihoods Officers with many years of experience. The interviewers did not put on cameras, they did not ask me to put on my camera neither.

Expand upon your motivation to work for UNHCR, to work for refugees. How would you explain what UNHCR does with respect to Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion to a friend?
What would your supervisor tell us about you? What are your strengths?
What are your weaknesses?
It involved shortlisting candidates for recruitment. What is your experience in that area? What is your experience with managing multiple priorities?
I had a 30-minute interview that was very cordial and informational. I was asked about my interest in the role, relevant experience, and transferable skills. I was able to ask all my questions about the role and better understand the expectations of the job.

Interview
Application sent to UNHCR via email. The interview invitation was received via email. The interview was held via phone call with Protection Legal Officer which went for about thirty minutes or so.
First a written test of about 2-3 hours, followed by an interview with a panel.
I was interviewed by 4 people in total (2 were HR). The interview lasted about 30-40 and each of them asked about 2 questions.
The questions were competency based questions.
