I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at UNDP (Seúl) in Apr 2023
Interview
At the beginning of the process, things were well organized and quite reasonable. Technical tests and interviews were scheduled in advance and I could plan my time around it. After the interview, HR reached out with a request for references, providing 2 days deadline for completion. After this, the HR went quiet for over a month. I didn't get a rejection letter until I followed up, and the response was generic despite the amount of time spent on my side, it felt disrespectful of applicants. It is unlikely that I will apply for any positions in UNDP again.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked 5 different questions, one by each member of the panel that interviewed me. The questions were related to some specific aspects of the job, but overall focused on my previous experience. One of the questions (and the final one) in particular was to describe one of my work experiences in which my role would have been valuable and couldn't have been done by anyone else.
