Ok first off I applied to this position 6 months ago. After checking my app status online I learned my app was not selected to move on in the selection process.
Come December, I was contacted to interview for the same position (now temporaey, with lower pay). I denied.
Come January, I was contacted again to interview for FT permanent position. At this point I'm thinking, something is off. I gave it a shot.
Brief in-person interview with CFO. My first thought he's mean and unorganized. I found this person to be disengaging and interested. I found the experience to be extremely rude and unprofessional I withdrew my application.
UCLA being a "top notch" school, should provide nice working space for it's employees. This particular department was messy. Coming from a previous Cal State employee, I'd rather much stay at Cal State with my organized, clean, and respectful colleagues. After all, UCLA is just a name.
