First you apply online and then take a personality test, followed by a phone interview, and then the next step was an in-person panel interview. Lastly, you pray you get the job.

You need first to submit all application materials to the coordinator of the department that you would like to work for and wait for their further notice. Most of the department will evaluate candidates based on their application materials and recommendation letters. For others, a short interview is needed. The interview is usually casual and informal, between a faculty and the candidate.

Interview
I applied for the position through the UCLA career website. There was also a screening survey that was required before my application was given to the hiring manager. Then, I received an email for a formal zoom interview. The interview was about 45 minutes long over zoom.
