The interview process can be challenging. It's important to know UCLA systems and/or other University systems to help understand how Fund Managers function in the school. It is important to be knowledgeable, but also show a willingness to figure things out.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied for the job a couple of years ago and decided to never apply for a career at UCLA again. The process took about a month. I applied in July and had a phone interview in August. I was asked very odd questions during the interview. For example the interviewer asked me what the current Bid Limit is (which is something I have experience working with). This was odd to me because the position I applied for had nothing to do with bid limits or public works projects. Its almost like the interviewer was trying to see if I really did the work outlined in my resume (which I in fact do). Why else would she ask a question that had nothing to do with the job I was interviewing for? I have never experienced anything like this before.
There was 2 rounds of interview and the first one was with the hiring manager and the second one was with the head director. They asked behavioral questions along with technical questions.
