Interview
It was wonderful, and everyone was extremely polite and welcoming. It was over Zoom. The questions were all related to my research agenda, job market paper, and Zoom. The questions were all related to my research agenda, job market paper, and teaching experience.
I applied for the position. They called me after 4 weeks for an online interview (30min). They asked 5 totally conventional questions: 1) why you want to apply; 2) experience in teaching; 3) experience as a researcher; 4) experience with service activities; and 5) diversity & inclusion.
After another 3-4 weeks, they invited me for an online "faculty visit", due to COVID, which consisted of 5 days (Mon-Fri) where I had to be available 3h per day for several one-to-one meetings, job talk, practicum with students (3h), etc.
Most of the people were polite and friendly. However, the process was clearly too long (I have my current job responsibilities), rather complicated to be carried out everything online, and the description of itinerary activities was not properly explained.
