The MCIP program has a fantastic interview process. You meet with a few professors who they try to match you with based on interest and you also get a lot of time with current graduate students during the recruitment weekend.

Question 1
Describe a research project you worked on that challenged you and how did you overcome they challenge.
Seven quant questions was asked. Duration and convexity are tools that are used to manage interest rate risk, while for options, the Greeks are also used for hedging purpose. It was generally saying a very good process.
I was directly admitted, then was asked with few questions: What is the major obstacles you had in your previous study? How could you overcome it? What you learned from this challenge?
