I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Transport for London (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2022
Interview
The process involves an online application, and then hearing back if you secured an interview in about 2 to 3 weeks time.
There is little to no flexibility of intevriew dates and times which is hard as if you are working full time, a little flexibility would be better. There is only 1 stage process which is good, and it is online which is also good as it saves time travelling to and from the location for a 1 hr or 2 hr interiew. It took a long time to hear back due to issues internally with people leaving the HR team. ideally, things like this should be managed much better.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Three competency questions,, information on competency is provided. 1 powerpoint presentation to present, few questions on that. why you want to work here? what is your current salary? what are your salary expectations? What is notice period? Are you applying elsewhere and where are you in the application processes?
(i think there needs to be a HR policy or rule or training for all hiring managers that companies cannot ask (1) current salary based on pay gap discrimination that exists, esp for women for gender pay gap, (2) should not be allowed to ask if you are applying elsewhere, that is not their fair and proper question to ask).
Friendly people on the panel who were very welcoming. Went through a recruitment agency- Hays. Hays organised a call with the hiring manager and then it was a formal interview in London.
