I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Transport for London (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2025
Interview
The overall process took 4 months. It involved two online assessments and an in-person AC. The online assessments were easy and involved situational and video questions. The hiring team ranks candidates based on their performance on the assessments rather than their CVs. The AC was well-organised and the interviewers were friendly enough. There were 3 stages in the AC; Group exercise, Presentation and a competency based interview. Two weeks before the AC, they gave us instructions about each task and how to prepare for the presentation. Technical questions related to the role were asked in the interview and after the presentation. The most important thing is to research TFL and their current projects as much as possible and to demonstrate why you're motivated for the job.

Interview
It was a smooth in-person assessment centre which was about 4 hours long, but went much faster than expected. It started with a group exercise with 6 applicants discussing the implementation of potential ideas. Then, there was an interview which had a few technical questions and few soft skill competency questions. Finally, there was an interview that lasted around 30 minutes, 15 minutes of which was presenting the work, and the rest of the time was spent discussing the work and answering questions.
