I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Transport for London (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2019
Interview
I applied for the role online and was invited to interview a few weeks later. The interview was split into two parts. The first part of the interview was predominantly competency based with a handful of questions asked by two interviewers. This lasted approx 45mins and the competencies being measured were sent to me prior to the interview. The second stage of the interview was an "unseen presentation". I was taken to a separate room and was provided with a short brief and was told I had 30min to prepare a presentation using this brief. After 30 minutes, two different people came into the room. I delivered a short 5-10minute presentation and then fielded some questions based on this. In total, the entire process lasted approx 1 hour and 30mins.
2 weeks following the interview, I was contacted and offered the role. I asked to negotiate on the salary offered and managed to secure a small increase on this. Overall the process was very well structured and thought through. They made a concerted effort to make me feel comfortable throughout.
