After applying online through monster.com I received a call from the HR Rep the next day. Here was how my interview process panned out over the span of roughly a month (in this order):
-Phone interview/screening with HR (30 minutes)
- Phone interview with Head of Branch (30 minutes)
-Face to Face interview with Head of Branch (1 hour)
-Phone interview with Business Operations Manager (30 minutes)
-Phone interview with VP (2 minutes)
-Proofreading/Grammar test (1 hour)
-Personality/Math/Logic Test (75 minutes)
Unfortunately, I did not fit the personality type they stated was conducive to success within the organization. They consistently asked how competitive I saw myself on a scale of 1-10, (Always say 10) so after not meeting their personality specs, I can only speculate they were looking for an aggressive, boiler-room type salesperson.
I wish I could have taken the personality test first and avoided all the trouble of interview after interview. Likewise, after each interview, you have to wait for the HR to contact you, so there is a lot of phone tag being played. Despite this drawn out process, the HR manager, Sandra Carpenter, went out of her way to accommodate my schedule, and was timely in her responses, so at least they sympathize with their interviewees. Overall, everyone was nice, but the process is a bit needlessly drawn out.
