I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TransPerfect in Jun 2014
Interview
It was very quick and efficient recruiting with timely and professional and very friendly HR personnel. They did a brief phone interview when they called regarding my application. Then they offered an on-site interview where I took a PC proficiency test and a verbal reading competency test. After which an offer was made at a set rate. Because of my extensive experience and doing so well on the test I was offered the top rate for the position. I completed the new hire paper work right then and was told they would let me know of my start date. I received an email with in a week of my training start date which was within a couple weeks.
For the interview, everything is based on a scale of 1-10. How competitive are you, how determined are you, rate your work ethic, rate your attention to detail. They also ask if you're a farmer vs. hunter. They don't consider most people that don't rate themselves at least a 9 or 10 for every question.
