1st round with hiring manager, 60 mins
Asked three pre-written behavorial/situational questions, answer must be in STAR format. Extremely formal.
2nd round with panel of peers from neighboring team, 60 mins (1 week later)
Each person asked another pre-written behavorial/situational question (again answer must be in STAR format), however none of the panel could answer questions about the job itself. The interview was seemingly more like a high school test of how well I could answer the questions, as the content I spoke about per my work experience went right over their heads. Frustrating.
3rd round with the hiring manager's manager, 30 mins (another week later)
The realest interview of them all - they told me to set aside my notes and script, and talk to them about why I wanted the job, why I felt I would be a good fit, what they expected of me in the role, etc. It was the most enjoyable interview in the whole process.
