Deadlines for applications were end November, was told 2 weeks to hear back. Heard nothing so assumed I hadn't got through, got an email Thursday afternoon at the beginning of February asking me to come to an assessment centre in Deeside, for 8:30 am that Monday, so less than 4 days notice for a student to travel (NE England to Wales, had to book accommodation and trains, and reschedule an exam). Assessment centre was actually really good, informative, 8 of us were there and had all had the same experience of not being told until a few days before, so minimal time to prepare for an assessment centre and interview, never mind logistics to get there. Got called back for final interview, again less than a weeks notice during term time, was told all the interviews (3 or 4 of us) were that week (beginning of March), told we'd hear back by beginning of May at the latest, but most likely mid April. Never heard anything back, emailed several times asking when we would hear back, or asking for any feedback.
Interviews themselves were good, interviewers were lovely, but having to trek down to the middle of nowhere in Wales, in the middle of term, with almost no notice, no compensation for the transport, especially when the final interview could have been online (30-45 Minute interview), and then not responding - makes me very glad I didn't get an offer
