I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toptal in Jan 2020
Interview
It was three stages. First was a comms test phone call just to confirm that you can speak English, the interviewer was friendly. Then the second stage was a timed online test. It was 50 questions in 25 minutes. I found this stage pointless for a product role.
The third stage was a scenario-based interview. The interviewer didn't seem to want to be there. The interview was a waste of time

Definitely needs improvement. The poor experience begins with a tough HackerRank quiz which really pushes the boundaries for being able to read fast. 50 questions, 25 minutes. Some questions are scenario-based, with up to 5 possible answers, which are really lengthy to read.
The following phase - is a "technical" interview in which you are asked to explain Agile to a 5 year old kid. They're testing the way you explain Agile rather than your expertise and knowledge of Agile or how you will use it.
Last part consists of a small scenario which is poorly explained - to begin with. What they're really after in the ATM for kids is a couple of user stories written, although they never specify what's the purpose of this scenario & what they want to test you against.
The "testing" process doesn't proof you for extensive Product knowledge or proven success in leading products. It's actually probing to see if you fit a very clear pattern they're selling to their customers. The role they're looking for is actually Product Ower, being really far from a true Product Manager.
First you have a quick chat with a recruiter where you discuss your resume, experience, expectations and the next steps of the interview process. Second step is a multiple choice test on HackerRank - 100 questions to be answered in 30min. Following steps include another interview and a project.
