I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Ciudad de México) in Jul 2023
Interview
2 entrevistas con personas de US. Todo en ingles, en el span de una semana. Muy rapido proceso. Fue mas complicado una vez aceptada la oferta, pasar por el proceso de background check.

Question 1
Me preguntaron si tenia experiencia en rol similar, mis intereses y donde estaba en mi vida.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters in May 2010
Interview
I applied online for the position and was contacted by a recruiter ~2 weeks later to schedule a telephone interview. The phone interview was scheduled quickly and consisted of standard questions:
* Why do you want this position?
* What skills do you bring to the position?
* Walk through of my resume highlights
etc.
However I was not selected to move forwards due to limited industry experience. When their chosen candidate had fallen through a few weeks later, the same recruiter called me back to invite me to the next round of interviews. Next was a telephone interview with the hiring manager - similar questions as before except more detailed with specific questions regarding work style and specific job responsibilities. Following this phone interview, I was invited to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and her boss - they covered all expenses since I was not local. At this interview, I delivered a presentation on TRs product portfolio, was interviewed once again by the hiring manager and her boss, and completed a short exercise critiquing a brief. Following this interview I submitted 2 writing samples and had a 'courtesy interview' with the VP for the department.
Despite all of this, i did not receive an offer as they had another candidate who (again) had industry-specific knowledge. Although this was a long process and the outcome was far form ideal, I enjoyed getting to know the folks at TR, learning about the industry, and it was great practice for my next interview .
