I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
I received an assessment, HackerRank, in march. This included ML and coding questions.
A week after I was told I passed.
I had the first interview in April. It was with a manager and another tech person. Focused on profile and past experience. I was told after I chased that I passed to the next stage.
I had another interview in May. Tech presentation focused on a research project I did. I thought this went really well. I chased up but was ghosted. I sent two follow up emails two weeks apart and a message on LinkedIn. I received nothing.

Question 1
What agents did you use for named entity extraction?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2025
Interview
An HR call without video, standard questions about my reasons for applying, UK work permit status, and salary expectations. After that they introduced the hiring process, which would involve about 5 stages: a call with the head of HR, cultural/technical, technical, a take-home task to be completed within a week, another cultural. After that initial call, I was completely ghosted. It felt more like a data collection exercise, especially since they didn’t share a salary range when I asked, only said they’d inform me after gathering input from other candidates.
Online screening OA assesstment in hacker-rank. Fairly unexpected if you haven't given interviews before. Asks about https, ML, and REST APIs. Then if you are lucky, you get selected for an online interview where they ask you about a past project - very subjective and depends on whether they like you or not.
