Thomson Reuters Data Scientist interview questions

There were 4-5 rounds. First round was a online knowledge test to assess your knowledge about data science and machine learning skills. 2nd is a phone screen, 3rd round is a video screen to ask you to describe your previous research and work experience, 4th round is a data science assignment. The final round is split into multiple sub-sessions to be interviewed technically and behaviourally by relevant data teams in their company. Once I cleared all the rounds, they sent a formatted rejection letter, not saying why I was rejected. I was graduated from one of the top 3 Canadian Universities, with a PhD degree, and my skill set is an overkill to what they do there. So the selection process is not very transparent and who knows what happens behind the curtains! I thought this was a big International corporation, but shame on you! Don't apply and don't waste your time and energy, otherwise, they will waste yours.

The atmosphere is quite good. Despite the fact that task was hard to accomplish, there was no time pressure and the interviewer was polite and offered some food and coffee. All in all, I remembered this company as solid.
