Interview was in person and relaxed. We went over my resume and then the interviewer asked questions from a list of premade questions but then gave opportunities for me to elaborate.

Question 1
How would you make new families feel comfortable receiving childcare?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Arnold, MD) in Jun 2023
Interview
I was initially given a phone call by the Rock Wall supervisor, inquired about my experience as a climber and working with children. She also inquired about whether I was seeking full or part-time positions, told me more information about the job role as a belayer and class instructor, and the hourly rate they offer. I was then called in to climb a 5.8 level climb at my YMCA location. The supervisor was super encouraging and personable, offered me beta while I climbed, and gave me a clear run down of the training process that would ensue once I was hired. Once I was hired by the Rock Wall director via phone call, I coordinated with the supervisor to begin my training process.
