I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) in Apr 2011
Interview
Very straight forward interview, standard questions were asked for the most part, such as "Why do you want to work at YMCA, What are you strongest characteristics. Questions that gauged your ability to deal with different scenario's also arised such as "If you overheard teen girls talking about girls how would u respond? If you had an activity planned for outside and it rained, how would you handle it?"

Group interview with other canidates and panelists. Mostly get to know you style and situtational tasks. You will be interviewing alongside other canidadtes so make sure you stand out and seem unique. Howeer don;t overdo it and remain humble and willing to learn.
Fairly relaxed, standard questions related to your interest and experience with early childhood education. They didn't really go over my resume- many workers were in high school, so their expectations likely weren't high.
