Desired Employee Review:
I'm going to let the message I sent to their supervisors speak for me:
"You all are terrible. I applied over a month ago and waited weeks just to get an interview. I communicated as best as I could, only to be told a few weeks later that you're overstaffed. It's ridiculous to waste someone's time like this. If you're not hiring, don't post a job online or at least let applicants know right away. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I’m leaving a review."
Red flags:
1.Poor communication: ***** in HR was helpful and did his best to assist me, but the rest fell on the other supervisors in different departments. I had to email ***** multiple times just to get updates on my status. After dragging it out for a month, they finally told me they couldn't hire due to being overstaffed.
2.Wasted time: It took a month to say no. They could have informed me right away or taken down their job posting. Instead, I spent weeks waiting, persevering, and communicating, only to hear something that could have been said on day one.
3. Lead me on: After two interviews with a week between each, they said I was a good candidate. Tells me they need to discuss about budget on a Friday. Making me wait till Monday to tell me it won't work out.
4. Lastly, the audacity: After being told no, they said that because of my vast experiences in multiple positions, I should work a position called hotshot to do a little in everyone's department. That would set in the fall 3-4 months out. I felt like I was spat on, thrown out, and asked to do their dishes. If I wanted to talk to ***** for the fall position go do that, they said. Just passing me along, taking no responsibility. It was disgusting.
Overall: They don't have their ducks in a row. I heard this place was good and organized, but I think I dodged a bullet.
Update: Just after 5 minutes of writing this review, I got an email back from another job posting I applied 2 days ago. Amazing what a great company with compentent people can do.
