I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Vancouver, BC) in Dec 2014
Interview
The interview began rather awkwardly because I shared the same name as the interviewer and its a rather uncommon name. When the workers called her name I actually responded to them out of habit so it started rather badly. During the roleplay for sales the interviewer actually wandered away to answer a phone call and I was interviewed by a worker. I was to market the tea tree products and I regret not researching it thoroughly because I only knew that it was good for blemishes, good for people with dry skin and that it came from tea trees. She asked me "What is exactly tea tree oil?" and I regret not doing more research about the product. Other than the extremely hard roleplaying the rest of the interview was just the generic questions that you get at any other retail shop.

Easy interview. Felt more like a conversation than being grilled on my resume. The manager asked me about my interests in the industry and my thoughts on skincare. I was asked behavioral questions as well.
