I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Worthing, South East England, England) in Oct 2012
Interview
Group interview, being that this was my first ever group interview, i was pretty nervous however the staff were very encouraging and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. During the group interview process we had to carry out a couple of group tasks such as choose particular products that were given to us in a paper bag to suit each celebrity that they showed us on a whiteboard and also pick a certain amount of products that could be put together as a set in a basket to sell to a customer as a birthday present and then explain why we chose all these particular products. I then got a call a week later to confirm that I got the job, yay!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't ever remember being asked a difficult or unexpected question.
I was asked a few basic questions by phone and then asked to come in for a laid back face-to-face interview. I was then asked to come back for the shop floor trial with the other interview candidates where we had to perform a series of tasks. It took them 3 weeks to send me a rejection email which I thought was very poor.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Cantorbery, Inglaterra) in Jul 2025
Interview
A 45 minute trial shift where they got you to interact with customers as if you worked there and give a hand and arm massage to a customer to try and sell an item. Very straight forward and they were looking to see if you follow what they ask.
the process was friendly, the first rounnd was phone interview followed by in person interview. the roles and responsibilities were east to follow . over all it was an easy and smooth eexperience.
