Tesla Mechanical Engineer interview questions

First interview was very casual and was designed to evaluate relevant project experience from the mechanical engineering field. Was mostly asked about my location and willing to relocate and desired salary.

Interview process was fairly straight forward. A recruiter reached out to me about the position so I had a quick 20 min phone call with them about my interest. Next a second interview was scheduled with the hiring manager that same week which was all technical. They didn’t ask me one question about my resume just technical questions about the position. Kind of disappointed they didn’t ask me questions about my resume or anything about the company because I wasn’t able to showcase my passion for their goal. Said I did above average and liked what was on my resume (despite not asking me questions about it) so they made me feel confident but when they got back to me they decided not to move forward.
