In the technical discussion, the interviewer asked questions about Ansible, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and TCP/IP, not quite complex and hard, but a little bit detailed, aiming to evaluate my familiarity, hands-on experience, and ability to address practical scenarios involving automation, container orchestration, and networking fundamentals effectively.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tesla in Jul 2025
Interview
The process began with a call with the hiring manager, followed by a super day with four team members. Before the super day, I was asked to prepare a presentation. Everyone I met seemed to genuinely enjoy working there, and the team came across as collaborative and welcoming.
About a week later, the recruiter reached out to let me know I did not get the job. It took some time to initially connect with the recruiter and the hiring manager, but once I spoke with the hiring manager, it moved quickly. Just a few weeks to complete the super day and hear back.
Most of the questions were behavioral, and I felt I answered them well, though clearly another candidate was an even stronger fit.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Nevada, MO)
Interview
The process began when HR said their team was interested in me. They sent available dates for the interview, asking about salary and experience, and then they sent an appointment with a senior engineer.
