Group interviews conducted with the same four people. We rotated between three rooms with four managers.
Questions were good, definitely gauged the room's qualifications, but too much time was spent on general conversation aka small talk.

Question 1
Can you speak any other languages? Would you be able to sell a car in that language?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Jan 2024
Interview
One initial recruiter screening by phone. Then teams meeting with both behavioral and technical questions. Got a rejection email after around 2 weeks. Everything was very casual aside from the technical questions which were a bit harder than normal.

Question 1
Technical questions specific to my degree. Why Tesla? Why this role? Talk about previous experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tesla in Sep 2024
Interview
The process started with an HR screening, followed by a test and a first technical interview. I cannot say how long the process was supposed to last, as during the first technical interview, I was given 30 minutes to present 3 projects, but the interviewer arrived 15 minutes late. This left me with less than 10 minutes, after which he apologized for having another meeting and ended the session.
