I had a great experience with my interviewer. I had three stages, normally there would be two stages. But because they had another candidate they could not choose between, I ended up with three. The interview process was very simple, all three stages for me were with actual coworkers you would work with. They asked very simple questions that related to work. First stage, as normal started with behavior, but later on led into more of work related questions. Same with the other two.
I got two interviews the same day but not back to back, depending on which team you are interviewing for they change strategies. My manager liked to pressure interview but the technical questions werent too hard.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
it was 2 rounds, 1st round was ok and passed, 2nd round was a lot difficult. As I was answering the questions correctly, it sounded like the interviewer deliberately started grilling me on topics that I dont have experience with because he wanted to hire someone with reference.
