The hiring process was three months long from the initial recruiting call to job offer/acceptance. The interview questions seemed rather lengthy and were average to above average difficulty. One thing would be to come in with as many examples as you can.

Question 1
Describe to me in detail how you handled a technical problem.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2023
Interview
Reach out by HR and said there was an internal position, thought my background matched. Direcly interviewed with my hiring manager and only one round, no technical stuff but mainly focused on my previous experience and behavior questions.
For internship, it's 1 round of behavior + 2 rounds of technical interview. For FT, I think it's 5 rounds of technical interviews and then they will hold a panel review to decide.
