Hard process, lot of scenario based manufacturing questions, written test 18 questions for 1 hour time limit. Must show a great project during panel interview, and ensure you know all the small details, they will focus on the problems with the design as well as how you can improve looking back

A lot of stiffness related questions, bolted joints and automation. How would you conduct the fluid fill station in such a way the cycle time to fill the car will be less than 5 secs? How would you automate attaching wheels to the car?
I talked with HR in the first step.
It was smooth.

I interviewed at Tesla for manufacturing enginneer, battery manuf.
This is hiring manager interview, it started with basic backgorund questions and then went deeper on battery manufacturing. Overall it was a good interview
I had a phone screening with the recruiter. She was very friendly but hasn’t had much of information about the position. Anyway, she has forwarded my CV to the hiring manager and had to answer a questionnaire. Than I’ve received an automated rejection email.
