Target Team Lead interview questions

Bull.. all interviews are bull.. they hire you based on what you say and not what you can do... They would hire an outsider over internal applicants just because.. a slap in the face.

Although I do the job of a leader every day, they couldn't just give it to me. Although they know of the accomplishments I have done for the past 4 years, my store manager (aka director, though Target isn't a film set) wanted me to answer every question as if I were telling a story (basically an animated Disney employee that is never not happy). Later I found out he had already preselected someone for the job and they were already training while I was given the pointless interview. As always Target promotes team members from the sales floor and not the people that work in the food departments already doing the job. I've trained 4 team leaders for other stores, because my leader didn't want to train them, so I had to do it. Total lack of appreciation.
