I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Fredericksburg, VA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I first applied to a target closest to me for cashier. They got back to me days later declining to give even one interview. I applied to a different target for a different position in hopes for a better chance of getting the job because I feel that target pays well (15 dollars, so I’ve read) and I usually like the employees and overall environment when I visit. I Waited a few days then I was told in an email that target wanted to do an online interview on the website hirevue with 48 hours. It’s Not live, you watch short videos where employees ask a question then you get 3 tries to answer then submit it. There were only 6 questions. I completed the interview with the best answers I could. Then they got back to me days later and declined to give a second interview. It’s very hard to get a job at target, as they’re very picky. You probably have to have connections or a lot of experience and/or be of older age.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question that they asked was, “imagine a guest approaches you and needs help finding an outfit for a wedding. How would you engage them? What would you recommend? What would you do if the size they wanted was out of stock?”
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Onalaska, WI) in Mar 2022
Interview
The Interview Process was fairly simple. It was first a virtual video then an in person interview. It was quick and easy. They sent emails and links to follow so it was user friendly.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Allen Park, MI) in Nov 2020
Interview
Interview was entirely online, very fast paces, answered questions via video recording and got a call within the next few days, no in-person interview in 2020, interview process was easy but they only gave you two tries to record your answers, would recommend practicing a few moments before recording
