I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Beaverton, OR) in Jul 2012
Interview
I was asked to meet at the kiosk in target to complete the applicant questionair, before being taken in the back to be interviewed. The applicant questionair consisted of math questions and situational questions in a workplace. After waiting I was interviewed the first time- I was asked questions like: why target? Tell me about a time when you had to do a lot in a small amount of time? tell me about a time when you had to work with others? - TONS of questions like that with a problem, solution, and outcome. After the first interview I was interviewed a second time with similar questions. At the end I was asked if I had questions and told the an HR would contact me!

Question 1
On the applicant questionair there were percentage questions! Which I find hard to do without a calculator. From the interviewer- your strengths and weakness, they would like an answer for both.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied online and was invited for an interview the next day. On interview day I spoke with 2 people and a conditional offer was made at the end of the it. I took the drug test and started a week later.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Oceanside, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied to Target for a seasonal position. I received a phone call three weeks later asking if I would like to come in for an interview the next day. I went in and waited in the break area for about five minutes, during that time, I was given a basic math questionnaire. I was then pulled out by who I believe was a manager who interviewed me for about fifteen minutes. I was given situational questions such as:
Describe a time where you teamed up with another person and accomplished a goal.
Questions like that. I was also asked the generic questions: Why target? What would your supervisor say about you?
After that interview, i went back into the break room and waited about 5 minutes and then was interviewed again, but by the HR manager this time who asked me pretty much the same type of questions. (Note: These questions came out of a handbook.) After that interview, I was offered a conditional job until I passed my drug test.
On a side-note: Glassdoor really helped me prepare for my interview.
