I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Brooklyn Park, MN) in Nov 2017
Interview
A prescreen phone initiated the first interview with a recruiter and experienced a punctual call back informing me of next steps. I was invited for follow up in person interview for an on-site meeting with two senior managers. The environment was welcoming, the location was easy to get to and the campus is spectacular.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I have interviewed with Target previously and they do a great job when asking their behavioral based questions. Candidates must be prepared to outline the STAR method and have succinct yet impactful examples. As a interviewer myself, I would love to have a few of their questions in my repertoire when I interview!
introductory talk where they wanted to get to know the kind of person I am and figure out weather I'm right for the position. The question were more about dealing with difficult situations
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
Referred by team member. Interviewed with HR & Hiring Manager, along with additional team members. Skills and Psychology/Personality tests, along with role playing a leadership challenge. The process took a couple of weeks and the in-person interviews were for about four hours. The team members I interviewed with asked behavioral questions from a document and most did not take notes.
