I applied online. I interviewed at Target (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview was pleasant. She asked me basic interview questions and it didn’t take too long. I did not get the job because I was 16 and did not have any previous experience.

Question 1
Most of the questions were standard. She asked me what my favorite book was. That threw me off.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2020
Interview
I was aware before hand going in to Target that there would be multiple interviews with two different managers. I was basically asked the same questions that were to determine which area I could work in, I can only assume. However I was using some restaurant/kitchen history to answer their specific questions, just because it’s what first came to mind. I have years of retail , not in food industry and they wanted to put me in the food area or Starbucks. I don’t feel like they actually listened to my answers. It didn’t feel like they took the details of how I handled a specific question, just heard food industry and felt my skills would be suited there. Definitely not what I wa interested in.
