The next day after finishing my application, they sent a link for a HireVue recorded video interview and gave me 48 hours to do it. The link sent me to a website where the interview would take place. The interview wasn’t live, so it allowed you up to 2 minutes to think of a response for 5 questions, then you are given up to 3 minutes to record your response. The strength of your response matters more than the amount of time you take to respond. You are given 3 attempts for each question if you don’t like one of your recordings. It will tell you there are 6 questions, but the last one is just agreeing to terms and services or something like that, just a checkbox. The first question is why you want to work as a Guest Advocate at Target, then you need to describe a time when you learned from a past experience, then when you had to work with others who had different perspectives than yours, then a time when you worked with someone to accomplish something, then what you will do when you see a customer who looks like they need assistance. I’ve seen videos from years ago that had the same questions, so these should be what it asks you. My only complaint is that they will reach out to you through phone, but they will not give you another chance if you miss their call. They called me 4 days after the interview, but I missed the call. I called back an hour later and they said to call back the next day at noon, but my application status was changed to “not being considered anymore” the next day. If you want the job, don’t even miss one call. I hope this helps anyone trying to get a job at Target.

Submitted an application on Workday - then to continue the hiring process I completed a virtual interview that asked questions in a "If a customer/What would you do" format - gave you opportunity to respond and explain yourself with a few retake abilities.
