I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Target (Urbandale, IA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I submitted my application online and I received an email the following day from HR. I called, set up an interview with a team leader for the following day. The interview took roughly a half hour in which the leader asked me questions about availability, prior experience, leadership experiences, etc. He also had me watch a video that took roughly a few minutes and asked me to talk about what stood out to me about Target's mission in it. I was called the following day, given an offer for the job so long as I cleared a drug test within 24 hours of the offer. I cleared the drug test on Friday and I had my first day of work the following Tuesday.

Question 1
How has leadership affected your life? While this is a very open ended question, for someone like me who has been a part of college leadership and the such, I had to quickly consolidate everything that I may have wanted to say.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
