A series of interviews. Basic interview questions. They do not expect you to have too much work experience. No phone interview, hourly rate non negotiable. Most of the higher-ups were great to work with but management throughout the store is constantly changing. Overall a great experience. The store I applied to did not mind hiring high school students.

Question 1
They asked me what types of experience I had working with customers because guest service is an important aspect of the store. Nothing to unexpected.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (La Verne, CA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I went in for the interview, they have you watch a video and then it was time for my first interview. The first interview was awesome. The person who was conducting the interview would give you positive feedback to answers you give which was encouraging and it also helps me do better in an interview. Then the second interview was just as easy as the first one. The job isn't rocket science, and they didn't pretend that you were interviewing for some prestigious job, like I've experienced with other companies. A+

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Birmingham, AL) in Apr 2014
Interview
I filled out an app online and got a call around 2 weeks later for a phone interview and then asked me to come in for a second interview and the interviewer asked a few extra questions and rewrote the ones from the first interview that ii answered (ii guess they were good enough?) and then he left and the head of HR came and offered me the job.
