I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Target) in Aug 2017
Interview
Started out at the Starbucks to interview. Interviewed with one of the Starbucks employees. If they like you, you'll interview with the Sales Manager. Then the head of HR came out and spoke to me to give me the job offer. I'd say Glassdoor helped me a ton with the interview prep. All of the questions are situational based.
It was super quick and easy. They are always short staffed so they'll basically hire anyone that looks presentable and friendly. I met with the store manager and after a brief interview I was hired the same day.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Madison Heights, MI) in Jul 2017
Interview
My interview was at 9:30am but I was not seen until 10:45am. Then after speaking with one interviewer, I was told that I had to wait about 15 minutes to speak with another one. Needless to say that 15 minutes turned into 30 and when I was finally seen by the second person she asked me the exact same questions as the first person so it was really a massive waste of time altogether. Not to mention the waiting room they had me in was kind of dirty.
