After being considered for a couple of different roles at Takeda this year, I'm convinced their management is really questionable. Do the hiring managers even know what they're looking for in a candidate? Its as if they hold a checklist in front of them and if the candidate's experience and skills don't check every single box, then he/she is no longer viable. It seems to me they don't know and/or understand how to critically think about a candidate's skills and experience that are transferable and clearly relevant. It's as if they're myopic. Perhaps this is the case in my experience. Or does it just boil down to the chosen candidates were people the hiring manager knew. Either way...management at this company raises questions.
