Roughly 5 interviews over Teams and a remote 1-hour presentation. No interviews in Cambridge. Everyone was friendly. Some questions were pointed at my knowledge base and asked me to solve problems on the spot.

Screening call. HM interview. Panel interview. Looking for relevant experience in past jobs. Technical and presentation skills are both important. Culture fit tested in panel. over all took 4 weeks.

Pretty typical setup for scientific interviews: conversations with hiring manager followed by schedule of seminar presentation and several one on ones with team members and managers over a couple days (virtual). Essentially ghosted me after all of these meetings and interviews which is unprofessional.
