Tableau Software interview questions

I first received an email on a Wednesday from a recruiter saying they reviewed my resume and that I was a potential fit. We scheduled a phone interview for Friday with the same recruiter. The phone interview went really well and lasted about 25 minutes. I received an email Monday saying they would like to schedule a second phone interview with the director of visual design. We scheduled the interview for Wednesday morning. The second phone interview lasted all of nine minutes. The interviewer was short, not very personable, and seemed like she was preoccupied. At the end of the nine minutes she did say that she would like to schedule an on-site interview and that she would have the recruiter contact me to set up a date. Thursday morning I received an email from the recruiter saying "it was a difficult decision, but they are moving forward with alternate candidates." I would have appreciated a more forward response in the phone interview. If they were not interested in continuing the interview process they should have just said so. That's not right to say one thing and then turn around and do another. Unless, that is how you run the business as well. If that's the case, I'm glad I didn't get the job.

Had a phone interview. Was asked about the challenges faced during the project and other behavioural questions. Was asked simple program on array . Interviewer was very patient. Donot panic. Its a really easy go process. The process took hardly a week and I was given my decision by the recruiter.
