The interview process involved several screening stages, firstly completing a Tableau exercise (which was equally fun). Then a phone screen. Next was a half day round of interviews at their office in Austin.
After passing this I was to prepare a visual demo, using the product. This was super challenging as a went on vacation the day after my onsite interview. I had little time to prepare, and was jet lagged, and had only 2 or 3 hours sleep before the presentation.
This was the worst presentation that I've ever given, but I felt obligated to do it. This was my mistake, I should have rescheduled.
Anyhow I never heard back from Tableau after this. Not even a "thank you". That was very disappointing.
