Contacted through recruiter and was invited for a coffee session with the hiring manager. Followed by an onsite interview with panel of 6 interviewers (2 at a time). After the interview, which was straight forward and was able to answer all technical and process questions, got to know from recruiter that they would not move with next steps. No reason or feedback given about how well/ bad the interview went.
Given that both my personal meeting with hiring manager and interview went very well (without any stumbling on technical or other questions), I was kind of surprised at the decision, until I came back to look at glassdoor and it seems that's the norm. Not sure if you need to be an ex-Microsoft to get considered.
