I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tableau Software
Interview
Pretty sure the recruiter I spoke with was confused or Tableau needs to seriously re-consider the requirements/compensation. After having 5 years of experience running sales cycles and closing deals, proven history of overachievement at top Fortune 500 company she told me I was only qualified for a salary that was 40k base, OTE of 80k. . .which is half of what I make now. I declined the offer to interview in person after that and instead just got a sales job at Salesforce for 4x the amount that tableau offered. . . no brainer. If it's not a mistake, don't bother there are sales jobs at other companies that will pay far better

Question 1
Why tableau? How long have you been closing deals? What are you looking for in a job?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Na-Duar)
Interview
Hiring process was very well organized, HR was very clear and concise about the rounds of interviews. Interview was great experience with some highly knowledgeable individuals. Interview panel also involved senior leadership team who were very accommodating.
Be aware!!! There is a scammer under Tableau's name. I applied online, I received an email from Andrew Beers to talk to Michele Yetman(they exist in Tableau's website) for an initial interview. I was told to set up a google hangout account. I chatted to the person(whoever behind the screen) for about 20mins and was told that I was selected and offered me $40 hour. That point I felt too weird so I left the chat. Then I did some research and found there is a job interview google hangout scam going on. Job seekers, please be careful!!
