I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TTEC (Ennis, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
Interview was actually a welcome group, Free unpaid licensing training, UNORGANIZED, Positions filled before process complete. Been out of work since September because of their disorganization and false hopes (it's now mid-December). I finished my insurance licensing course in 1 week. It was supposed to be a 2 week course, but they left my group of 6 on their own to complete the course bc our trainer had been fired, and halfway in brought in a group of 25 to start actual classroom training. I went and took my state exam and turned in all the information to apply for my license. They dropped the ball and did not turn my info in to the state for 3 weeks, and would not return my phone calls. Then called to let ask me when I was going to come apply for my state license. I said that they already had everything, she checked and sent it in that day. When I called a couple weeks later to check on the licensing process, the position had been filled and they had made a mistake and had to send it back. It was 1 1/2 months from the time I took my state exam till the time that the info was turned in. it takes 3-5 weeks to get the license and you cannot start until you have your license. 2 out of the 6 people in my group passed the exam and 5 out of the 25 in the group that came in a few days into our training passed. If you are a warm body, you will receive an offer. They hire via contracts which maybe a month or may be 3-4 months. The trainer had been there 3 years and was still working on contracts so she had periods of unemployment. I have been on 2 interviews with Teletech, the second I was going for insurance since it was my field that I am waiting on the license for, but when I got there they put me in turbo tax/intuit, then had me do an assessment which i passed, then asked me what time I wanted my training to be. I told them 6:30 am-3 pm. They checked and it was available. The next day, she called and said she forgot to write down my training time. I told her again and explained how upset I was with their disorganization. She promised that I would be in the morning class, but i received an email saying that I would be in the 3 pm-midnight class. They also tell you immediately that if you get someone hired on with Teletech you can get a $250 bonus for each person who works more than 30 days. What they fail to tell you is that you have to be an employee yourself in order to get the bonus. I got my sister hired on, and will not receive my bonus for getting her hired. I am not generally a negative person when it comes to companies, every company has their problems, but this company is insanely disorganized and has caused several of us to be without work for long periods of time...and right at the holidays at that. Every person you ask a question to has a different answer. Apparently there is no communication in management
