Interview questions [1]
Question 1
in your last job, when your manager gave you criticism, how well did you handle it?
The first interview was nice. I was offered a second interview later today. I hope it is as easy as the first, but I am prepared. I just want to get hired in as fast I did the first. Wish me luck everyone please and thank you.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TTEC (Johnson City, TN) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was a group interview with 10 other people and we were required to turn our cameras on, even though the recruiter kept hers off. She took roll call, briefly went over the company, provided no job role information, then went around one by one asking :
- have you worked for TTEC before? How many years customer service experience? Call center experience? Work at home experience? Are you bilingual in Spanish?
- then she’d ask each person a different basic interview question and if you answered well, she moved on to the next person. If you didn’t answer well, she’d ask more questions.
Overall, the whole thing was completely customer service focused for a CUSTOMER SERVICE role.
After I got an email about an offer call the following day. I went and found out it was for a licensed insurance sales agent position. Not only that, unlike as posted in the job description, which said it was permanent, the role was temporary. They required 2 weeks of self-led study completely without and instructor on Medicare insurance licensing material, encouraged unpaid study time, and guaranteed a lapse in employment while you take the state board exam and wait however long, pretty long depending on the state, to receive your license. Only then do they look into putting you in the next licensed agent class that lasts a week. The position itself when licensed only lasts from October to December and the you’re no longer employed. I left the call halfway through due to having self respect. What a waste time.
