The interviewer began by testing my JavaScript knowledge with questions about core concepts such as closures, prototypal inheritance, and asynchronous programming patterns. I was asked to explain the differences between var, let, and const declarations and to demonstrate my understanding of scope and hoisting. I was also asked questions about the different ways to loop an array of elements in JavaScript.
