I first spoke with the HR recruiter on the phone first. My conversation with him was cordial, smooth and professional. He explained the role to me and the compensation and benefits. I then interviewed with the Hiring Manager and her two team members. The interviewers were extremely cold, detached and unprofessional. The way the position was explained to me was different from the job description posted and alarmed me. They told me that the position was the secondary control to the secondary control for Human Resources, Operations and I.T. The position sounded redundant to me and could be eliminated. I went through my background with them and I tried to show them how I fit into the role based on what they told me about it. One yawned at one point, really? You can't control yourself during an interview? The two team members were hostile to me. One questioning why I even applied to it. If you felt that I was not a good fit, why did you interview me in the first place and waste my time? The second team member pointed out a role that I did previously and bluntly said "we don't do that." None of them asked me any real questions regarding my background. When I asked them a question they responded with "I don't know." The hiring manager did not even ask me a single question. I was not selected, thankfully. I would not work with them given their conduct towards me, as being extremely rude and unprofessional. You revealed yourself to me for who you were!
