Interview questions [3]
Question 1
which desk/area of sales and trading are you interested in?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied online after networking with the desk I was interest in.
Received HR’s invite for a 1st round interview to happen 3 days later. I had to skip class since no other time slots were offered.
1st round consisted of 2 individual 30 min video interviews with 2 members from S&T. I connected on time to both WebEx meetings but none of the interviewers connected on time. After 10min, they eventually called to my phone number and each interview was cut short to 20min.
No introduction from the interviewers or what their specific role/desk was with TD, so pretty hard to make any sort of connection. Questions were mostly behavioural with one tricky/puzzle question. No technicals.
3 days later I got a rejection email. I appreciate the speed of the process but was quite disappointed with the whole experience. Had greater expectations of the process since this is a large organization with plenty of resources.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
Multi-round interview. The first round was one to one interviews with multiple interviewers (back to back). Upon successful interviews, flown to Toronto (if necessary) for a social and a multiple two to one and panel style interviews the following day (also back to back).
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2015
Interview
Had taken 2 months to process the interviews.
Total of 3 round of interviews - be prepared for both the behavioral and technical questions (mostly, you will be asked the behavioral questions).
