I applied in-person. I interviewed at TD (Medford, NJ) in Oct 2015
Interview
. Although I applied online I was not hired by applying online. I networked with tellers, who took my contact info on a Thursday, got call on Friday for phone interview, then set up interview on following Monday. It took about two months after the fingerprints and background check.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard interview questions: strength, weakness, where do you see yourself in five years, why did you leave your last job, tell me a time you when above and beyond for a customer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied online, received a 30 min assessment. Then had to answer a few questions through hirevue (webcam interview). Then received a call/interview from an HR representative asked a few behaviour questions and availability etc. Final stage was a group interview, with about 20-25 potentials. worked in groups of 5, came up with a presentation using a topic given by the interviewers (more of a fun activity!). Also had a one on one with a branch manager. Overall fun experience, a little long but its protocol. Happy to be here! (1 tip: always always highlight your experiences and sell yourself!)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did you deal with difficult customers? Tell me about a time where you gave exceptional customer service? Tell me about your sales targets/goals.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Waterloo, ON)
Interview
I attended the group interview panel, you have to work with other people to give a presentation to other groups and branch managers about a product that you would have to "sell" or promote.
The one to one interview itself is not hard, they ask you really basic questions like what experience you have, mostly based on your resume. Lastly they would ask you to sell an object, could be a pen, credit card, calculator or a skew-driver, just relax and think about what benefits it bring to the customers.
